About

I am originally from Mexico D.F. I recently graduated from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio with a B.A. in Architecture. I am currently looking for an entry level job in a Design/Build firm anywhere in the world; as I am not opposed to relocating if needed. Doing architecture renderings and physical models are a big interest and I put a lot of passion into what i create. My interest in architecture came from a high school architecture class and the teacher who pushed me to think about design. From there I took an internship position with Casillas+Casillas in Guadalajara, Jalisco (Mexico) and that placed me on a mindset to go after an architecture degree. Through my college experience I gained interest in architecture that values its connection to its environment; that connects with nature and revolves around sustainability. I want to further develop my understanding of structures and construction to push sustainability in my design.

I started graduate school at NSAD (NewSchool of Architecture & Design) in San Diego, Ca.

I attended a study abroad program in London for 5 weeks in summer 2011. In which I participated in an Architecture Studio based on sustainable design. We visited numerous sites and architecture firms around the London area, as well as in Whales. Apart from those trips, I also visited Barcelona and Munich. Being in Europe expanded my vision of design and helped to push my design process further.
