I was born in Santiago, Chile and my family moved to the U.S. when I was one year old. After 10 years we moved back to Chile and I lived there for 10 years, during which time I began Architecture School. I decided to move back to the U.S. to continue my studies in 1999 and I have been here since.
My work experience in architecture starts in 2002. Since then my experience has been in all phases of projects and a diversity of project types that includes single family / multi family residential, mixed-use, education, restaurants, hospitality and retail. I have pushed myself to gain as much diverse experience as possible, because my goal is to be a very well rounded architect. Some of my most important roles and responsibilities have included the design and coordination of projects from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents.
I am a Licensed Architect in the State of California and I am NCARB certified. I have a Master’s Degree in Architecture with honors, a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with honors, 3 years of architecture studies abroad in Santiago, Chile, and an academic recognition that includes publications and exhibits.
In addition, I have served as a studio jury for universities, worked on several competitions [2 first place entries], spearheaded intercompany graphics, and currently instruct courses on SketchUp 3D software.

Our urban design studio at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Mich., developed plans for the WTC site in Spring 2002. Each student presented his or her own design theme and program. While the studio incorporated a great variety of themes and programs, student proposals often included mixed-use developments.
