About

Recently, I have completed my architectural curriculum at New York City College of Technology for Bachelors in Architectural Technology where my education was steered toward green building and design. In my early years of college I have joined an Architectural Club and over time advanced through the ranks to become the president. As a club, in collaboration with our director we have been creating additional educational events for our department such as lectures, excursions and trips that were local and abroad. Together we have traveled to half a dozen countries during our breaks and witnessed firsthand from classical to contemporary architectural marvels of different time periods. Coming back I have implemented the ideas I’ve learned from my travels into my projects. I have been coached by my professors to achieve the best possible result in the given time. Throughout the years of architecture school they have taught me most of the software used in the field. I became proficient in AutoCAD and 3Ds MAX, I also use SketchUp, Rhino, and PhotoShop depending on the amount of time I have toward a specific task. I am great at sketching and if you take a look at my portfolio, you may see I that utilize my initial sketches along with computer software to help explain my concepts for my professors at school and for clients at work.

For over a year I have been working as a Project Manager at Essex Works LTD, a concrete manufacturer right here in the city that specializes in historical restoration of land-marked buildings. As part of my job at Essex, I have been producing appropriate documentation and detailed installation drawings using CAD for architects and contractors on construction sites. My work has been extremely diverse from visiting job sites to estimating prices for potential clients. Even though I am satisfied with my job, recent work-flow has been slow. After couple of days at home I started freelancing on small renovations (bathrooms and kitchens mostly) and created my website to showcase some of my previous projects.

Right now I am looking for a position as a Junior Architect,  to express my knowledge and expertize beyond renovation,  take on newer challenges and hopefully further influence people through my work. I never forget to keep an open-mind to new ideas and always ready to implement new approaches.
