For the last 8 years I have dedicated myself to achieving a core academic background in the field of architecture and urban design. In 2007, I recieved a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida. Immediately following this, I continued to pursue a Master's degree in Architecture and graduated in May 2009. In December 2011, I graduated from the University of South Florida, where I was awarded the University Graduate Fellowship, with a second Master's degree in Urban and Community Design.
In addition to my education, I have participated in design-related travel to China, Europe, and Mexico, assisted in teaching beginning design courses, and volunteered with student organizations.
As an emerging designer, I have much to contribute to the field of architecture and urban design. I am individually motivated and a team player, able to effectively develop conceptual ideas, a thorough researcher, an articulate communicator, detail oriented, flexible, a fast learner and highly well-organized.
Areas of expertise include Autodesk Revit Architecture, Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign, Google Sketch Up, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, & Excel, ESRI ArcGIS, laser cutting, physical model construction, strong graphic presentation skills, and hand drafting.
I am currently working as a Graduate Designer at Ponikvar & Associates in Gainesville, FL.
