About

With a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan, I have a strong sense of design and have acquired a wide variety of digital and manual design skills. While at the University of Michigan, I was recognized for my design capabilities. I received the 2010 Raoul Wallenberg Studio Award and International Travel Grant for my senior studio design project. With the Raoul Wallenberg Travel Grant, I was able to spend 5 weeks, earlier this year, traveling in Nepal and India studying Hindu and Buddhist temples and places of pilgrimage.

Professionally, my international experience has exposed me to different office settings, architecture methodologies, and cultural contexts.  As a Project Architect at Rafael Vinoly Architects in New York, I was part of a large multifaceted design team. In this fast paced setting, I developed my leadership, communication, and teamwork capabilities. While working for Rafael Vinoly Architects, I had the opportunity to live and work in Abu Dhabi, UAE and Manchester, UK. Prior to working for Rafael Vinoly Architects, I worked for Atelier Liu Yuyang Architects in Shanghai, China. This small office setting exposed me to all levels of design and client interaction.
