About

I am a graduated Architect in 2010 in the University of Navarra with a Master´s degree in the Aalto University of Technology about Wood construction.

During the years of my Architecture degree at the University I earn strong skills in design, including projects of different scales, documents production, presentations and details, and structures and construction systems. I have to include in this section the knowledge of some designing tools like architectural software (CAD and 3D rendering), hand drawing and model making.

In Summer time I did internships in some architectural offices from my area. During these internships I did site visits, construction drawings and learned how and architectural office works daily.

After the conclusion of my studies I started the Wood Program at the Aalto University of Technology in Finland. Throughout the year I spent in this course, I learned about Wood construction and Architecture, lectures like wood properties, wood construction, industrial wood products, treatments, design; these were some of the courses I attended during the year. Forming a group with the other participants of the program we design some transitional wooden structures along the year and a main project that was built at the end called “Liina Transitional Shelter”. This project has been published in magazines and websites, as well exhibited at the World Village Festival of Helsinki (May 2011) and the Architecture Biennale of Sau Paulo in Brazil (September 2011).

The experience of doing the Wood Program has giving me the capacity to design with wood and the best way to use it in Architecture.

Currently I am doing site visits to a promotion of 58 homes under construction in Marbella (Spain), writing down and photographing the construction defects for subsequent repair and delivery of the houses.

Along these years I have improve my way of working in projects, earning a high work capacity and organization in each assignment. My level of commitment to each project has always been very high in order to get the desirable result. I am a positive and calm person, trying to solve the problems as they arise and finding the most appropriate solutions for the project. I am a committed team worker and I have leadership skills, organizing and motivating people to give the best. When designing, I am a person who opts for simplicity and functionality of the project, finding an aesthetic expression of these qualities in an elegant way. I like to be accurate and correct with the details of a project, leaving no aspect to chance. My ability of organization makes it timely with deadlines.
