Basem M.EID.M received his Master of Architecture degree from the McGill University in 2008 then continued to pursue his PhD, focusing on the application of cutting edge computation technique in the design process towards mass customization of housing.
Basem also holds a Bachelor of Science, and a Master of Science degree in architecture from the AAST architecture department, an accredited degree by the prestigious RIBA I,II . Currently, Basem is pursuing his PhD, working on developing a digital platform for mass customization of housing.
Since graduation, Basem was involved in various projects ranging from residential, to public buildings. Basem joined Stendel+Reich architects in 2008 and worked on several building renovation projects, Bell boutique Newgen design, highway 30 , and finally the Trios Rivieres amphitheatre competition. Additionally, Basem worked with Avi Friedman consultants as a design/Research assistant on various architectural and urban projects in Alberta, and Ontario
