Andrew is a designer interested in the social and civil support systems underlying design intervention, especially in the intertwined domains of public space and infrastructure. Recent work engages large scale systems, yet his interests range across scales and he relishes each opportunity to design and collaborate on projects, from ephemeral interfaces and graphics to buildings to large landscapes.
He is a recent graduate of Syracuse University School of Architecture, where he was recognized as a Syracuse University Scholar, awarded the James Britton Prize for Best Thesis, and recieved the Luther Gifford Prize for Highest Rank in Scholarship.

601 Tully, Architectural Assistant
A community-collaborative design build renovation. This project started as a class at Syracuse University, which carried over into the summer. While working on the project, I made drawings, renderings, models, and sketches. Later, I helped to begin to make some of these concepts reality by reclaiming materials, processing those materials, and making furniture and a mobile partition to be installed in the house after its completion.

A start-up renewable energy, engineering, and consulting firm. While at Fourth Coast, I learned the ins and outs of solar and wind energy systems, and applied this knowledge by conducted feasibility and benefit analysis of PV and Small Wind Energy Systems. As part of this, I worked on NYSERDA and USDA grant requests, making site plans, electrical diagrams, and solar analyses.
The engineering component of the firm had me prepare building permit and documents and perform NYSUBC research. Also, I learned about and worked on a RFP for the Army Corps of Engineers, for which I prepared Site-Civil and SWPPP drawings.
