Last Winter I got the great opportunity to develop part of my thesis program at White Architects in Stockholm, which has been really inspiring for my work and has widen my knowledge in different fields.

I’ve taken my master degree in Architecture, European class 4S, at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in July with the maximum of the grades (110/110 cum laude) and just got the Professional Examination for Architects in Rome on the 23rd of November. At the moment I’m attending an Autodesk Revit course.

At Stockholm’s KTH University I did my exchange year in 2009 where I focused for one year on sustainable architecture. My interest in sustainability and social issues made me choose for my thesis a housing project in Stockholm’s new developing area, Norra Djurgårdsstaden, which has a high energy efficiency demand and encourages new living opportunities.

These experience made me understand that sharing knowledge and ideas with other people in a multicultural environment, and trying to integrate people’s needs and habits with an effective design and new solutions, is for me the best way of working.
I would really enjoy having the opportunity to develop my studies and abilities in a so stimulating environment.

I’m ambitious and motivated and I’m ready to start working to grow and widen my knowledge.

I studied for one year at the Architecture School Kungliga Tekniska högskolan in Stockholm sustainable architecture. We learned how to integrate sustainability in the design process, how to use new technologies, studied materials characteristics and the main passive and active methods to gain and save energy. The main goal of the course was to teach students how to deal with energy efficiency developing an intelligent, flexible and low budget project.
