Founder of ArquitesAa, a design consultancy currently operating from Canada, Catherine R. Esaa started her architectural career in 2002 after obtaining her professional degree in Architecture from the “Universidad del Zulia” in Venezuela.
A global development within the most prestigious companies in their areas has combined her diverse portfolio, delivering projects throughout the world including North America, the Middle East, Latin America, and several Caribbean Islands, developing thorough understanding of the AEC industry while assisting over 100 projects in a wide range of sectors including Commercial; Financial; Residential; Educational; Healthcare; Hospitality and Mixed-use; as well as Urban planning and Recreational developments.
But Catherine’s professional grounds not only refer to the architectural and design fields. A noticeable interest in "Research & Development and Writing" can be seen in her early beginnings with the compilation of 4 books studying the most globally impacting urban interventions, as well as her "non-profit portfolio" of projects which includes the redesign of a Public Healthcare Center, a Building Rehabilitation for an Indigenous Community, and also two major multifaceted urban proposals including an "award-winning" conceptual project for "Sustainable Planning of Territories Growth on Developing Countries".
Today, compromised on her core of service, Catherine is currently engaging in a role of Executive Design Consultant via ArquitesAa, a design consultancy dedicated to provide design, marketing and strategic development support to businesses and industry professionals as an alternative to cope with a fast-moving market. The Holcim Awards is an international competition of the Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction. The competition celebrates innovative, future-oriented and tangible sustainable construction projects from around the globe.

- Economic performance and compatibility
- Contextual and aesthetic impact
