Graft, Intern

CJK Design, Project Designer
At CJK, I performed a multitude of tasks, including SD, DD, and CD drawings, as well as work in CA, Site Planning, Marketing, and coordinating consultation from MEP, Civil Engineers, and Landscape Architects on a wide range of projects.
University of Pennsylvania, MArch, Architecture
My academic work investigates sustainability through a less conventional approach. I am interested in not only how a building performs, but also explores how one interacts with said performance, and, in effect, their environment. I see energy as a poetic device, with its own rhythms and effects, and my research strives to integrate the dynamism of this local ecology with my own obsessions in digital formalism. The formalism I speak of is itself informed by the local conditions, as are the programmatic relationships which develop simultaneously, leading towards a more holistic approach towards sustainable design.
