Sr. Project Architect for LAUSD's Dorsey HS. Project included new gymnasium and classrooms as well as renovation of an existing gymnasium.
Pfeiffer Partners Architects, Inc., Los Angeles, CA, US, Project Manager/Project Architect
Project Manager and Project Architect for the UCLA Student Housing Project. This 4 tower with 9 stories each campus addition included outdoor plazas a dining hall and formal ballroom. Oversaw construction documents starting in the Design Development phase and through Construction Documents.
In the down time on UCLA Mr. Gardner designed all the exterior details for a complex performing arts complex in Bellevue, Washington. On that project he worked closely with a water proofing consultant.
Johnson Fain, Los Angeles, CA, US, Project Manager/ Project Architect in charge of Construction Administration
Project Manager of the Native American Indian Cultural Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Worked closely with the Principles Johnson and Fain as well as the Native American tribe leaders. Coordinated the project from Design Development through Construction Documents selecting consultants and working through design issues with the Cities plan review department.
Completed the construction administration of two new LAUSD schools.

Vice President in charge of Project Management, Project Architecture, design, production, marketing and project construction for the new West Coast office of a Colorado architectural firm. The firm specialized in ecclesiastical projects. Work completed by the West Coast office included: the design and construction of new churches and small and large additions to sanctuary spaces.

Mr. Gardner was the Project Manager and Project Architect for the Getty Villa, a museum of antiquities located in Malibu, California. Our firm was the Executive Architect that collaborated with Design Architect Machado and Silvetti. Under direction of the museum's curators we renovated the existing museum and expanded the project's campus adding a number of new buildings.
With Langdon Wilson he was the Project Architect in charge of construction for the Team Disneyland Administration building in Anaheim, CA. This work was completed in collaboration with Design Architect Frank O. Gehry's office.

After leaving SCI-Arc with a BArc degree I recognized my education lacked the above liberal arts classes necessary to complete my education. My time at UC Davis strengthened my ability to write and to see in 3 dimensions. Literature, it seems was purely a selfish pursuit.
