The Bachelor of Architecture Program is a professional program accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) requiring a minimum of five years of study. The 5 year program follows an intense core architectural education, liberal arts requirements, and chosen elective courses. Design classes both fall and spring semesters all intend to produce students who excel in Conceptual Design, Representation, Ecological Design, Critical Thinking, Research, Computation and Fabrication, and Professionalism. The fifth year Degree Project or Thesis asks the students to make a giant leap forward. It is essential to define the economies of architecture; an embodiment of ideas in regards to a larger social context.

The selection for the honors program abroad in Rome took a total of 30 students from the 2011 class at Pratt Institute. The program involves an intense study of the city’s architectural and cultural history. With a rigorous load History, Design, Drawing, and Italian. The program enables students to see profound architecture everyday. You learn to draw, analyze, write and even criticize some of the best architecture in the world. Carlo Scarpa's Brion Cemetery and Castelvecchio were critical points during the trip where students are shown the meaning of "verum, ipsum, factum". Truth is in the Making.
