About

Former Nurse practicing interior design. I am a disciplined professional with a strong work ethic. My former professional experience has taught me how to be a team player, organize, prioritize and critically think through problems.

My experience began while a student at the University of New Haven working with the facilities department as part of a team lead by a former professor.  Experience in site  documentation of the older buildings and drawing them in CAD .  Space planning, creating new office space, incorporating plans for ADA accessibly  and an adjacency matrix for the largest building on campus . New office space included elevations, sections and details. Participated this year in a presentation of the work we created for the school to the strategic planning committee .

While at ATL Environments I did space planning for residential and assisted on commercial, including site documentation.  I worked with vendors and sales representatives.  Assisted with product specification, including paints, wall coverings, flooring, hardware finishes and bath product selections. Research and cost comparison were included.  Also, creating invoices, assisted in writing proposals and working with the clients on product selection and pricing.

Presently I free lance for the Ms. Donovan Levine (designer) on a 100 unit condo complex created by an architect and being built by a developer.  We are space planning kitchen, bath and furniture plans.  We will be specifying interior product selections -LEED, Energy Star, IAQ and Low VOC products and incorporating ADA adaptability on the first floor levels.

I am an independent vendor for the University of New Haven keeping their campus maps updated on CAD the facilities department and event planning.
