  • Assumed responsibilities as assistant project manager on architect designed 100% custom solid mahogany door and window projects.
  • Instrumental in the updating and modification of technical block libraries.
  • Selected by the president to work on feasibility studies to determine new manufacturing possibilities, such as multi-tier steel reinforced partition assemblies, extra-large glider and Foldaway door track systems, and full sets of extruded aluminum cladding for all window types.

  • Was in charge of all drafting.  Mostly worked from rough sketches to implement the original design intentions,

  • As draftsman, worked as team member on large Chicago hotel designed by world renowned architect, I.M. Pei.
  • Assigned unique upscale projects, such as  the 'Presidential Suite' woodwork interior prototype for the well-known Essex House in New York City. This included master plan, wall paneling, architraves, fixtures, and furniture.

Completed the B.S. in Architechtural Technology requirements as a night student, except for the senior year, attended full time. Worked as full time draftsman during the day, mostly in the high end architectural woodworking area -- i.e., traditional wood mouldings and complete paneling of walls, ceilings, architraves, mostly all wood store fixtures, and cabinetry of the finest quality (very little mdf).
