I am a creative and motivated architect and graduate from Drexel Architecture’s 2+4 program. I have gained over 3 years of full time architectural work experience in both the US and France, and have completed most of my IDP credits towards registration. I have worked in architecture firms, at least on a seasonal basis, since I was 16 years old. I am proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microstation, Photoshop, Illustrator, and MS Office. My architectural experience includes construction documents, design development, office management, schematic design, and shop drawings, along with other tasks. My references can vouch for my professionalism, dedication, drive, and ability to work well in a team.
I am available to work immediately.
Team Design Architects, Rumilly, France, Architect
At Team Design Architects I worked independently taking primarily homes from the simple conceptual design phase to construction documents in cooperation with the clients. I also did work permits, planning permits, and survey drawings, entirely in French. Unfortunately due to European work visa technicalities, I couldn’t continue working at Team Design Architects.
Robert D Lynn Associates, Philadelphia, PA, US, Junior Architectural Designer
Robert D. Lynn Associates specializes entirely in health care design. Here, I did everything from schematic design, to construction documents, from cost analysis, to design development, from office management, to surveys. It was at RDLA that I was able to gain most of the experience that I now have. I was involved in almost all aspects of the design and documentation process.
Toll Brothers Inc. - Toll Architecture, Horsham, PA, US, CAD Associate
My first full time architectural job was at Toll Brothers, a homebuilder, after my sophomore year at Drexel (the beginning of the nigh portion of the 2+4 program). It was here that I became very fluent in AutoCAD.
Johnson Jones Architects, Princeton, NJ, Summer Intern
I worked as a Summer Intern at Johnson Jones Architects from the end of my Junior year in high school until the summer after my first year at Drexel. There, I built models, helped reorganize the office, scanned prints, sorted transmittals, picked materials, did CAD work, and took photos of the firm’s projects for their website. At Johnson Jones, I gained an understanding of what an architect does and how a firm works.
