Max Underwood, a Professor I had for grad school, once said that many of us will have multiple careers in our lives. While most of the people I know have traveled a pretty straight line, I have diverged many times. From faculty at ASU and MCC, to ironman triathlete and professional track cyclist, to magazine editor and publisher, to writer, and back full circle to architecture and photography, I have lived a pretty amazing life thus far.

I would like to take all the skills and parley them into a career nearer to my family in San Diego, but I haven't quite discovered what exactly this career track may entail. I believe my strengths are working with consultants to create complete integration in each project. I also am proficient at details and interior design and finishes.  I have hands on renovation work from two former homes I have owned: a 1929 home in downtown Phoenix, and a 1982 home in Scottsdale, AZ.

I currently work as an architectural designer and continue to develop my photography and creative works portfolio.
