About

Hello,

My exceptionally strong architectural design skills, along with my AutoCAD skills and previous experience as a senior designer, make me an outstanding candidate for the Interior Designer position I recently read about on craigslist.org.

Since receiving my graduate degree in design, I have worked in architectural firms and for home renovation television shows and my recent positions allowed me to do so while managing a team of design assistants. My personal style is clean and contemporary with a mix of vintage to create a comfortable, lived in aesthetic. However, when working with a client, I utilize a holistic design approach to create the ideal environment for them so I have experience with many design styles. Though most of my work is residential, my previous projects include everything from commercial offices to banks and an animal rescue center in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.

Throughout my professional experience I have a proven track-record of:

- Understanding the clients needs and desires

- Excelling in client presentations and interactions

- Providing architectural contract drawings for presentation, permit and construction

- Producing AutoCAD drawings in as little as a day turnaround

- Efficiently communicating, organizing and coordinating with outside vendors and contractors

- Maintaining and working within budgets, schedules, deadlines

- Balancing strong leadership and managerial skills and being a hands-on team player

- Multi-tasking multiple duties and projects in various stages of completion

I would love the opportunity to meet with you to discuss my qualifications and further explore your needs. Please find attached my resume for your review and below is a link to examples of my work.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Tenecia Harris
