I am a qualified architect and from the beginning of my degree I have combined my academic studies with professional practise in various architecture offices in Barcelona and Sydney. Also I have assisted the Department of Architectural Design in the School of Architecture of Barcelona. This blend of learning and working in a professional environment has given me certain interests, in particular the relationship between people and architecture; architecture that is deeply rooted in local culture; the configuration and understanding of the city; the evolution of construction techniques and the use of new materials; comfort and the environmental means of control and architecture economy.
