Candidate for a California Architect's license. Passing the AREs.
Accredited Bachelor of Architecture from Woodbury University / Minor of Urban Studies.
Well-versed in hands-on construction with formal architectural education, I have established a deep understanding of architectural design and construction through high-end residential and commercial project management in City of Los Angeles, West Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. I understand practical architectural design in terms of functionality, collaboration, negotiation, construction document clarity, project sequencing, budgets, and aesthetics.
I worked in carpentry and metals for 5 years throughout architecture school to fund my education and experiment with building. I have since been working for architects and traveling to the Middle East, Sub continental Asia, and Latin America to study vernacular architecture, how it functioned, and its purpose.
I have the technical abilities to translate art into architecture in the computer or through sculptures, paintings, and furniture which are inspired by nature and classic forms. I love to understand different people's perspectives of beauty as there is something inspiring about creating something universally appealing. I can converse about architecture and art infinitely, debating aesthetics and purpose, or the role of the architect today.
My style can be described as functional, creative, precise, elegant, technical, beautiful and dramatic.
I am seeking full-time work under an architect who is passionate about this profession.
