I am recent graduate from the University of Kansas Master’s Degree program in Architecture and am in the process of completing an internship in Kansas City. I have maintained my studies while engaging in a challenging academic curriculum, participating in campus organizations and community volunteer opportunities, and still making it to as many KU basketball games as possible!
I would be a great candidate for a full time employee as I have a strong desire to learn and contribute. I am a ‘quick learn’ and I feel as though I would be able to adapt to an entry level position in order to be most productive and contribute in any way possible. Throughout the course of my current internship, I have gained a wealth of real-world knowledge to supplement my design education. I have been under the direct supervision of a licensed Interior Designer and licensed Architects giving me a great opportunity to see a different side of the complete building design process. I have gained experience in schematic design, design development and construction documents further developing my Adobe Suite, AutoCad and Revit skills. I have been responsible for the graphic representation of drawings for award submittals and project interviews. I am certainly not afraid to help wherever I am needed!
