My goals for the future are focused on utilizing my strong interpersonal skills and passion for innovation in a creative environment, in order to acquire the experience and abilities needed to excel in the field of design. I genuinely enjoy the creative process, including generating new ideas and problem solving. I also believe that I bring a strong, enthusiastic, self-motivated work ethic to any and all challenges I've come across.

Louis Vuitton, New York, NY, US, Store Planning Project Manager

Implementing knowledge of complex retail architecture and design. Full store build outs, construction of lease department stores and major minor works.

Responsibilities:
Project Manager coordinating regional works. Manage multi-million dollar budgets. Developed schedules, continuing to build relationships with vendors, consultants and NYC/Paris team.

Responsibilities:
Acted as On-Site Facilities Project Manager, Creating various layouts for frequently changing tech start up. Space planning for global offices and new campus at Facebook.

Responsibilities:
Developed leveled CAD layout for GPS systems related to special applications for smart phones.
Prepared CD sets for several watch retrofits being prepared for high-end tech retailer.

Gained knowledge of luxury architecture + branding methods. Implemented projects in 20 stores at various levels.

Responsibilities:
Collaborated directly with Director as a Project Manager coordinating regional works. Managed $1M budget. Developed schedules, Leveled bids. Cultivated relationships with vendors, consultants and NYC/Paris team.

Managed Showroom of high-end custom residential furniture and light fixtures.

Responsibilities:
Generate sales with homeowners in the surrounding areas. Assisted in outfitting interior spaces for client renovations and expansions. Sourcing new vendors to be carried within the line of custom products.

Responsibilities:
Executed client’'s program for concept, survey + test fits of commercial space with project team. Created design development presentations that included schemes of renderings for future spaces. Produced plans, elevations, details for complete CD sets. Spec'd FF+E and maintained product library.

Project Experience:
VIACOM, New York, NY | Completed in 2013
Sourced materials for schematic design, rendered elevations and perspectives for MTV conference rooms and staff lounge. Completed punch list for BET sound booths, developed graphics and signage for wayfinding in exterior corridors.

Collaborated directly with CEO as a Graphic Design & Marketing intern.
Exposure to the branding and naming process for companies and products.

Responsibilities:
Updating and writing copy for gkBRAND blog. Organized contacts and strategic mailing lists. Created graphic landing pages for gkBRAND websites. Competitive research for company and personal branding. Contributed to on-going design projects; Brainstormed ideas for logo design and branding. Offered interior concepts that reflected the brand (when applicable). Developed market strategies for future clients.

The Commons Project:
Worked with team of five from programming to concept to final design for the Commons Atrium in MVR Hall. Evaluated needs of students, faculty and staff. Presented space planning and FF&E to facility directors. Gained experience working with a client, revisions, contract drawings and budget restrictions.

D.Lib Project:
Repositioned and established specifications for the Design Library in the DEA Wing. Determined visual brand for the Design department. Provided student users and employees with a systematic process when using the space to optimize their experience.

Promotion of business practices and principles to thirty students going into their senior year of high school.

Responsibilities:
Provided students with assistance on how to create business plans and execute pitches to a panel of judges at the end of the program; building presentation skills. Taught them business etiquette and how to efficiently participate in collaborative team projects. I completed program in 2005.

Research:
Creating a typology of contemporary interior design practices that are derived from reiterative historical designs that span time, style and cross-cultural boundaries. Concentrating on Bar & Nightclubs, understanding the social aspects that are affected by the interior such as gender, culture, and sexual orientation. Also investigating adaptive reuse and restoration projects in this practice type.
