Education

University of Illinois Chicago, BArch, Architecture

Received my Bachelor's Degree in Architecture in 1982 after studying for four years in Simon Bolivar University in Venezuela from 1974 to 1978. Moved to USA in 1978 with the intention of finishing studies in Chicago. Architecture in UIC had a excellent program with visiting professors coming from the most recognized architectural offices of the city including Tom Beeby, Helmut Jahn and Stanley Tigerman. Emphasis was made in the design process from the original conceptual idea to the final developed project. The studies were lacking of the green architecture but heavy on the preservation of landmarks and points of interests.
