The Flamingo’s Gnome, is a independently based company, founded on the goals of creating treasure from trash. Made from old signs and banners, F-Gnome, utilizes these now useless items and transforms them into handy and unique accessories, all handmade.

Totum, Sherman Oaks, Architectural Designer / Office Manager

Alma was an integral member of the Totum team with responsibilities including: project management, contract documentation from concept design through construction documents, permitting and office management. Totum afforded Alma the opportunity to not only engage in all aspects of project management, architectural design but also as management of the office environment.

Alma performed comprehensive design consulting on scopes from SD through CD's ranging from CAD drafting to marketing and web design. Major work included the award winning LAUSD NZE School Prototype, and various municipal Parks & Recs projects. Additionally Alma worked hand in hand with the design principals with executing RFQ's, RFP's and development of web design / furniture prototyping of HeyFarmer©.

I received a Bachelors of Architecture from Woodbury University in May 2011. While at school I developed a thorough understanding of 2D and 3D computer design software and have a predominantly strong background in graphic representation. My studio courses have covered an array of topics, programs and site conditions, and have allowed me to operate in team settings with much success. During my undergraduate education my works have been exhibited in many events such as Wedge Gallery exhibits, NAAB accreditation, Los Angeles Metabolic Studio: Farmlab, and the recently released Guerilla Urbanism book by Anonymous Acts for the Public.
