About

In summary, I have experience in all design phases and construction administration on institutional and residential projects at New York City architectural firms.  My background includes experience in sustainability strategies and ‘green’ design, knowledge of a broad range of architectural theory and methodologies, office management and client interfacing.  In addition to proficiency with AutoCAD, Photoshop and Illustrator, I have experience with 3D modeling/animation software.  I am also an accomplished hand renderer and life drawing artist.

I hold a Master of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute (2007).

Currently I work for Helpern Architects in the East Village of New York City.  Project involvement includes the schematic design phase of our restoration of the Sterling Memorial Library at Yale, construction documents for the Fort Washington Collegiate Church in upper Manhattan and construction documents and administration on our project for the Marble Collegiate Church on Fifth Avenue in midtown.

From 2008 to 2010 I worked as an architectural designer and draftsman for Roberta Washington Architects, P.C. in Harlem where I was primarily concerned with construction documents and construction management issues for a 42,000 square foot ‘green’ school project in Brooklyn.  Specific duties on this project included mechanical and structural coordination, overall drawing revisions, maintenance of finish schedules and drafting revisions for our field representative during the construction phase. I also worked on schematic design and design development phases of smaller institutional and housing projects.
