With an M. Arch from the Boston Architecture College and professional experience qualifying me at the level of Architect/Designer III, I am prepared to provide strong support in all aspects of the design and construction process.
Experienced with all phases of design, I have proven to be particularly adept at coordinating architectural, mechanical and structural systems and developing reliable construction details, ensuring code compliance and maintaining design integrity. As a well-qualified draftsperson, I strive for clarity and efficiency in creating, developing and publishing construction documents and I look forward to enhancing these abilities with new technologies and methods and further practice.
Fascinated by the construction site, my experience with construction administration has been both a success and a pleasure. On site, I have conducted construction meetings and field surveys, and prepared meeting agendas, minutes, and field reports. From the office, I have managed the RFI process and product submittal reviews, providing timely solutions for all issues. I have established and maintained strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants while always maintaining the original design intent.
In anticipation of rising to the position of project manager and, ultimately, licensed architect, I am eager to put my experience to work and very enthusiastic to gain new skills in predesign, bidding and contract negotiation, proposals and presentations, organizing, budgeting and staffing projects, and estimation. Possessed with a strong aesthetic sense, I remain a student of design through independent pursuits and am hungry for any opportunity to assist in the design process.
