About 

These days I am managing a large scale project for a hotel in Mayakoba beach, Mx for Parque Humano Arquitects. It is a multidisciplinar team with collaborators in 4 different countries. The client is Hyatt (US) and OHL (Spain).

These are some of my skills and experience:

-I have a 7 year M.A. degree in Architecture & Urban Planning and 9 years of post-graduate experience working in a wide range of projects in renowned  international firms such as David Chipperfield Architects.

- I have large experience in all design and construction phases: competitions, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration, as a team member and also managing and coordinating the projects.

-Advanced design skills, strong technical knowledge in space programming, construction details, materials, construction processes and systems.  Large experience managing contacts with clients, contractors, engineers and key participants.

-Superior CAD skills also proficient with Revit (experience in large scale complex projects), 3D Studio, photoshop, in design, illustrator, sketch up, msoffice and hand sketching.

-I am a registred Architect in Europe and a LEED Green Associate, I am planning to take my LEED AP test within the next few weeks since I have already completed the previous steps regarding to green work experience in a project in Tucson AZ. I have large experience in sustainable projects.

-Pro active, I know how to approach effectively to different situations, solving the problems saving time and showing great commitment, never leave things undone; I manage well the stress factor. I am creative, enthusiastic and flexible.  I am an outgoing person, I can be a team player or work independently, according to the circumpstances. I know how to build a comfortable work atmosphere, I believe happy people are more productive.

Exedra/PBA, is a small firm based in Barcelona, its main volume of work consists in developing projects in colaboration for or with RCR architects in Olot (Girona).
I have worked as an architect from April 2010 to January 2011, for PBA/Exedra in Barcelona (Spain), responsible for leading 2 projects, first one is Soulages Museum in Rodez (France), in collaboration with RCR architects, developing project concepts, construction drawings and details. Second one was a competition for Praedium headquarters in Barcelona (Spain), winning the first prize, responsible for team coordination and drawing development.

B720 is one of the largest architecture offices in Spain, and it’s well known by their own projects and by their collaboration with some of the top architecture offices in the World as DCA (David Chipperfield Architects), AJN (Ateliers Jean Nouvel) and Toyo Ito Architects.
Most of my professional experience at B720 it is also related to David Chipperfield Architects in London (U.K.), as co-authors of several of the projects
I have worked as an architect from October 2003 to March 2010, for B720 architects in Barcelona (Spain), developing many different positions and gaining great experience and recognition, starting as a member of the interior design team for the Barcelona City of justice, have played different rolls in different projects and different areas -from interior design to façade design, or urban planning- until being responsible for leading some projects. Most of the projects were co-developed with David Chipperfield Architects in London.
Participated in many prestigious projects as the Agbar Tower -with Ateliers Jean Nouvel-, the America’s Cup building in Valencia –with David Chipperfield Architects- , Lleida’s airport, Encant’s market, Subway stations interior design, etc…. Responsible for many different tasks including development of graphic and written documentation from start to finish, managing team members, supervising budgets, presentations, delivering submissions within strict time limits and budget constraints, coordination with associated architects, coordination with service and structural engineers, coordination with contractor and interaction with clients.
As a project leader I’ve been responsible for Reynes family house in Girona (Spain), Diagonal 197/campus audiovisual in Barcelona (Spain) –in association with David Chipperfield Archittects-, WTC Igualada (Spain) and Puigcerda Middle and High School (Spain).
Have taken 2 of these projects until finally completion on site, Reynes family summer house in Girona (Spain) and a 18 story office building (25000 m2)in association with David Chipperfield Architects in Barcelona, also responsible for WTC Igualada project, won first prize competition for a 53000 m2 office, hotel and commercial complex in Igualada (Spain)
