Having worked as a Contracts Administrator for many successful years. I have in addition carried out Inspections and constructed reports enabling the client (both government and private) to have court evidence of the delivered conditions of a completed job. Completion of complex due diligence reports with Consultant Coordination is a strength.
My invaluable experience includes designing interiors, preparing reports and change orders, RFIs and SK dwgs for the NYCBIB and NYCHRO programs, and private office and residential project contractors. In addition, Contractors, Architects and Engineers use my supervisory and inspection skills to run weekly Construction progress meetings.
I have been a manager of Architects, expediters, and construction management staff within NYC. I have worked for municipalities overseas as City inspector for code compliance., as well as the NYCHA in NYC.
Having handled all phases of residential, commercial and institutional design and construction projects – from initial research through completion – My skills include:
BIB program as DOB Manager in the Elevations Division (IBTS), I have extensive supervisory field experience for the NYCBIB program and other NYC governmental programs.
Successfully liaising with government agencies (NYCSCA, LPC, HUD, NYCDOB, BIB,) and coordinating with contractors to complete projects on time, within budget and in compliance with applicable regulations. Worked as an NYCHA employee 1978-1980 in Design Department for upgrades and community center outfitting
ACAD supervision and drafting – hotel and residential and interiors
Knowledge of materials, Site inspections expert identifying resources to repair residential and commercial buildings –Companies, Vendors and Trades in said repair methodologies.
Filing with governmental agencies. Securing Dept of Buildings approvals on clients’ behalf including reconsideration letters and serving as an expert in advocating zoning variance situations.
Software - Acad, Intuit Quick base, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Citywide CMS, to create designs, scheduling charts as well as the ability to render concepts in freehand and/or managerial charts to illustrate those concepts to clients and other governmental agencies.
