Thesis: A study on living locally. Designed a collegiate infill project on Cal Poly’s Architecture building featuring student housing, urban farming, and additional school-related facilities. Incorporated on site self-sufficient strategies such as: permaculture, water collection, waste treatment, energy generation, and ecological regeneration. The idea is that many of a student's daily resources and commodities could be derived on site thus reducing the reliance on conventional (and often harmful) modes of manufacturing and transportation.
