About

My name is Joseph Sgambati and I am a recent graduate from Syracuse University's School of Architecture. I just finished working in the School of Architecture’s reading room this summer while I completed a summer course.

For my thesis I designed a new office and studio headquarters for Alexander McQueen to test the ways in which fashion techniques can be exploited in architecture to reflect one's identity. Throughout the course of my education I have worked in many mediums both physically and digitally, and find my research and graphic presentation skills to be some of my strongest. I have also had experience with designing and constructing small scale installations the find ways to repurpose used materials.

I have a great interest in the intersection between architecture, fashion, and graphic design, all as ways to brand oneself and give tangibility to identity.
