I am an aspiring sustainable designer. I graduated last May ('10) from the University of Virginia's M.Arch program where I focused my attention and studies on sustainable design and construction. While pursuing my Masters, I led a multi-disciplinary design team as a Project Manager and sustainability consultant for the ecoMOD Project. The THRU house, completed in2010, was a 1200sf modular home built in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity and is currently pursuing LEED Platinum certification. Since graduating, I moved back to New York and have been looking for full-time architecture opportunities in and around NYC. I have worked as an architectural consultant doing research for LEED/NYSERDA and most recently have been freelancing for a small, architectural firm working mostly on residential work for million dollar homes in the Westchester area. I am excited to pursue further opportunities and gain more experience in my field.
