Designer, Maker of things, Architect in Training:
I have experience in residential, commercial, and education facilities projects - ranging in size from small interior renovations to large multi-use complexes- and so am open to any of these areas. Currently, I am working at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in the Space Planning Office documenting the existing conditions for all buildings on campus. Until February of 2009, I worked as an intern architect at Looney Ricks Kiss Architects with Carson Looney, at which point I was laid off. My time at LRK was spent primarily working on pulling together drawing sets for residential projects. Before moving to Memphis, I worked at Skidmore Owings & Merrill in New York City. At SOM, I was responsible for coordinating with consultants, researching materials and products, and putting together presentations for clients
I’m currently working on completing IDP but also have approval to start taking the AREs in the State of Illinois.
I am a team oriented person who loves to bring different types of people together for a common cause. Although most of my experience has been in an office, I have also worked construction in NYC.
