In the most basic sense, architecture is derived from necessity; a thoroughly realized answer to a question. Louis Sullivan is quoted as saying "Form follows function.". The challenge in today's architectural environment is fulfilling the programatic needs of the end user, balancing the aesthetic and maintaining the budget to achieve the overall vision.
Teamwork is the convergence of many roads of thought into one superhighway. Through teamwork, seemingly impossible ideas can become possible and boundaries can become nonexistent. For me, to be an essential part of the team's effort and be most proficient in all areas of my work while expanding my creative mind is the ultimate experience and the lure of architecture.
