I was a part of several small design teams working through the schematic
design and design development phases of not only small apartment
renovations but a large scale resort as well. Using AutoCAD,
Rhino, and Illustrator I created and rendered perspectives and elevations
for client presentations.

I was involved in the design and documentation of a 20,000 sf. addition
to a Catholic school in residential Harlem, New York. Using various
design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Illustrator, I created and
rendered elevations. A small portion of my time was also spent on 3D
printing buildings for a design proposal.
Sol Design Lab, Austin, TX, US, Design Assistant
I participated in a workshop with the company Sol Design Lab where I
helped assemble a solar charging station that was designed to charge
cell phones, laptops, and electric scooters. In addition to helping
assemble the charging station, I also designed several logo prototypes
that would be displayed on the station.

I organized the architectural drawings and materials for the firm by designing shelving units that would stay in the basement. I worked in AutoCAD to design the shelving units and acquire the proper dimensions and then constructed the shelves out of CMU blocks and plywood.

In addition to my B. Arch degree, I also received an Environment & Sustainability Bridging Disciplines Program Certificate. The completion of the BDP Certificate gave me the opportunity to explore a variety of disciplinary approaches to environmental processes and contemporary environmental issues. In addition to taking several environmental classes, as part of the program, I also participated in internships to experience how sustainability can be achieved in the professional world.
