Education

University of Massachusetts Amherst, Amherst Center, MA, US, Bachelors, BFA Architecture + Design

Minor: Building Construction Technology / Certificate: Civic Engagement & Public Service

My five-year undergraduate education ended with a BFA in Architecture and Design from the flagship campus of one of the best public university systems in the world, UMass Amherst. The program has an artistic base with three drawing courses and one sculptural course before moving into a design studio sequence. In studio courses I was introduced to conceptual design and exposed to most architectural software including Rhino, Revit, Adobe Suite, Grasshopper, RhinoCAM, and digital fabrication using a CNC Router. Taking given programs through schematic design and design development I produced 3D renderings and scaled models along side 2D plans, sections, and elevations. Other courses I have taken range from energy efficiency to city planning along with several anthropology and construction technology courses to satisfy the requirements for a certificate and a minor.
