About

My name is Adam Wilck and I am writing to you about seeking possible employment with your company. With this letter I am including my resume for your review and consideration. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Architectural Sciences from Western Kentucky University and am looking for an entry level CAD operator/draftsman position.

I work well with others and am a very reliable and honest person. I worked for Fakes and Hooker Lumber for one year and three months at Huskey Truss and Building Supply, as a design engineer in their estimating departments. In that time I was responsible for designing structural floor and beam systems using engineered wood products and developing and calculating structural loads for custom residential homes. I also have practical carpentry and construction experience through my employment at Cutting Edge Construction, a custom home builder and remodeling company where I was responsible for the up keep of a subdivision under construction and various company projects, as well as my participation in fourteen different Collegiate Challenge build trips through the Western Kentucky University campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity. I have experience using AutoCAD, Revit, BC Framer, BC Calc, MiTek Saphire, Weyerhaeuser Forte, and Fast Beam software. I always strive to do the best job that I can, am eager to learn new things, and I am always looking to improve myself and the work that I do.

Thank you for your time and I would appreciate the opportunity to meet and discuss the possibility for me to become a valuable member of your organization.
