- Participated in production of Entitlement set for a 180,000 SF Hotel project. Responsible for completion and conversion of inherited project documents from AutoCAD to ArchiCAD format, for further development and documentation.

- Completed As-built drawings, and complete drawing set for US Postal service office renovation in Malibu, CA. Also coordinated with contractor and client for this effort.

- Designed, produced drawings, and coordinated with client for private home renovation in Malibu.

- Handled all aspects of design, permitting, coordination, and construction (as general contractor) of a $1 million, 3-story 3,000 sf structural concrete home on Lake Travis. The home features multiple elevated outdoor decks, a roof observation deck, roof garden, sauna in the master bath, elevator, and various additional custom features.

- Designed and documented complete renovation and addition for a 3,500 sf ranch home in Smithville, TX.

- Performed full home renovation of a 2,500 sf home in Austin, TX (Design/ build).

- My primary project while at RSA was the “Art Gallery of Alberta” in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada – recipient of a 2012 American Architecture Award, by the Chicago Athenaeum. I saw the $88 million project through to the completion of the Construction Documents phase.

- In addition to the production of drawings and details, my tasks included the role of coordinating with the associate Canadian architects, Structural and MEP coordination, leading the integration of BIM software (Revit) in to the office, as well as overseeing the work of junior staff members.

- Worked as a design team member for Del Amo Fashion Center located in Torrance, CA. I began working on this project in the Schematic design phase, and saw it all the way through Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration.

- Designer of winning scheme for charity project through Make-A-Wish Foundation of Los Angeles. Coordinated all aspects of this $100k project from the architectural side – including design, documentation, product research, structural / contractor coordination, and construction administration. Project featured in the L.A. Times, as well as several local network news broadcasts.

- Team member (4 mo.) for L.A. Coliseum football stadium renovation project for the NFL. I participated in the development of the design and architectural drawing set, as well as additional presentation efforts.

- Exposure to a wide range of project types and sizes, local and abroad. Project types include retail, mixed use, multi-family residential, and sports facilities.

- Constructed AutoCAD drawings of “as-built” plans and elevations of an existing ranch house from field notes, as well as window and door schedules for a new house.

- Assisted in new branch startup by designing and building a large fixed-shelf bookcase for product catalogs, as well as other efforts to improve the facility.

- Collaborated with office staff for project filing, catalog library organization, office supply management, and office errands and deliveries.

- Designed and led efforts / participated in the construction of a 450 sq. ft. boathouse, and a 250 sf workshop with exterior wood deck, as an addition to an existing residence after my 3rd year of Architecture school.

- Constructed with 2X6 wood framing members, and slab on grade construction with wire mesh and rebar, and sheathed with 7/16th inch O.S.B., and clad with Hardie-Board siding.
