I am a recent graduate from the Master of Architecture program at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. Born in the UK and well traveled, I fully enjoy going to new places and meeting new people. Recently spent 2 weeks studying with a special topics studio in Kyoto, Japan and before that lived for 4 months in Berlin, Germany.
I have a deep love of contemporary Japanese architecture ranging from masters like Tadao Ando to future greats like Satoshi Okada. This love has inspired me to become interested in compact architecture, particularly residences in high density urban areas.
I enjoy reading and try to do as much as time allows me whether it be a new architecture book or a riveting adventure in a far away world. I also have a place in my heart for both photography and sketching/drawing though my skills are somewhat amateur.
Over my time at Wentworth, I studied under persons such as Carol J. Burns, Mark Klopfer and Robert Trumbour. The intense studio atmosphere I encountered here fostered my love of architecture and taught me the skills I required to enter the professional world. Though, I have yet to encounter an opportunity to step into the professional world I have kept myself involved by participating in numerous competitions.
Currently, I am hoping to find such an opportunity that will enable me to take the next step of my career; one that I will both learn a great amount as well as allowing for enjoyment.
