I am a highly creative and multi-talented architectural designer with extensive experience in project management, interior design, multimedia, and marketing. As a passionate creator of innovative design strategies; I am accustomed to performing in deadline driven environments. I believe in sharing and exchanging knowledge and working with others towards a common goal resulting in project success.
I completed my Bachelor’s in Architecture from Woodbury University, in Burbank California. As a part of my undergraduate studies, I completed coursework in residential, commercial and urban design, environmental systems, materials, architectural theory, structures, as well as additional work in applied structural steel and wood design. Furthermore, I have utilized drafting programs such as AutoCad, Rhino, Adobe Suite, and 3D Studio Max for graphic presentations and projects.
I secured an architectural designer internship with Manifold Design in the winter of my sophomore year, and gained exposure to the design industry, while taking the responsibility to elicit, understand and resolve the projects needs of the clients, owners and the users. As a junior, I was one of the selected few students who had the opportunity to study and travel to South America and participate in a design competition for revitalizing the La Boca River in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In my senior year, I was fortunate enough to be accepted to the Barcelona- Paris abroad program where I explored architecture and urban design throughout Europe for over 4 months. These traveling opportunities contributed to a broad understanding or contextual design and by comparison helped me understand my own identity.
I have earned several awards while a student at Woodbury University, including the Golden Key Award for Excellence in Scholastic Art and Writing, in April 2005 and received the Woodbury Academic Scholarship throughout my entire college years.
