Allen Bianchi Architects, Senior Project Manager, Construction Supervisor

Brief Firm Introduction:
Allen Bianchi Architects is a small firm specializing in modern residential design. Work from the firm can be seen at www.allenbianchi.com. The positions I held at the firm were Senior Project Manager and Construction Manager.

Senior Project Manager
As a Senior Project Manager I was an active participant and collaborator in all phases of the architectural design process including: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, bidding and contract awarding, and construction administration. Responsibilities also included reviewing engineering drawings for accuracy and design compatibility, preparing architectural proposals and AIA contracts for new clients, in addition to the management of company accounts and finances. Finally, I had the responsibility of leading client meetings and design discussion by creating three dimensional computer models for virtual tours, and renderings to aid in client's comprehension of the design intent.

Construction Manager
As Construction Manager I was responsible for developing and estimating construction costs and budget for all of the firm's design/build projects. Other responsibilities included managing multiple construction projects simultaneously, including scheduling, project accounting, scheduling the appropriate city inspections, and examining the quality and accuracy of all work performed by various trades on site.
