Lukas Maehr is a master‘s degree- qualified, award-winning architect with expertise in architecture, urban design and landscape architecture. He collaborates with the SPARK (Alsop Architects) office in Beijing since November 2011 where he refines his knowledge about commercial, mixed-use and high-rise projects. In the years before he worked with excellent and innovative practices where he gathered a broad experience in all scales and stages of architecture. His designs won several competitions, both as an employee as well as independently. During his international working experience in Europe, Africa, Australia and China he acquired special design skills related to project conceptualization and its integration with the urban and social context, working with Bart Lootsma (Architecturaltheory, ETH, Berlage Institute, Superdutch), Stephano de Martino (Studio1, Lorma Marti, OMA) and Martin Mutschlechner (Stadtlabor, Berlage Institute).
