About

My name is Jue Wang, I am a female from China. I received my Bachelor of Architecture degree in China, and I recently received my Master of Architecture degree in UCLA (Thom Mayne Studio).

I have several architectural software skills including 3d modeling (Rhino, Revit, Sketch up), 2d graphic(AI,PS,ID), sustainable analysis(Ecotect, Airpak), geospatial(Arcgis, Qgis, Esri City Engine). I was trained to be a qualified architect during last 6 years, and I am looking forward to join you.

I currently hold an OPT visa (from 08/11/2015 to 08/10/2016), in the future I will need your sponsorship for the H1-B visa. I am available during my OPT visa period, and I will be appreciate if I can have a full-time intern(able to work during the week or daily).

Education

University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Los Angeles, CA, US, MArch, March 2

In my graduate school, I have done everything except design. I focused on the
Grand Challenge of sustainable Los Angeles County in 2050 with Thom Mayne.
In the studio, we worked as a team to identify the problem of energy,
transportation, water and biodiversity. All of those problem identifications were
under the complex urban context that includes economy, policy, social and
culture. I was trained to gather and organize enormous information, and form a
strong argument with clear graphics.

Aug 2014 - Jun 2015

Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, CN, BArch, Architecture

During 5 years training of basic architecture knowledge and skills, I found myself
more interest in interdisciplinary research based design. I had much fun in
digging other areas information, and presented them in a coherent way together
with my design. I am also very interested in sustainable design, and I have joined
several workshops to develop my design with passive system and software
analysis (Ecotect and Airpak CFD analysis).
