I have been profoundly invested in my work with collaborative results. I am interested in continuing to work at a public, civic, and urban scale in a team environment, but also in bringing it back to the core of my architectural interests in form, materiality, and non-standardized design processes and explorations. More specifically, I’m interested in entering more deeply into the realm of the a design cultural.

I began my career working at a mid-size firm where I gained experience to leading projects that began with a personal drive and collaborative design process, resulting in numerous awards, for both competitions and for completed projects. Took what I learned from this experience to Harvard Graduate School of Design, moving away from the study of autonomous architecture towards an exploration of the relationship between form and program.

My subsequent experiences at HOK have offered me the chance to transition these interests back into practice. Working closely with Peter Ruggiero, our design director who had recently transferred from SOM, has taught me valuable lessons in terms of both design and client management. In the past few years, other than independent work with the Expo 2020, I have been engaged in the design of corporate campuses, a planetarium / museum, and an office building, all of which are introduced in my work samples. Most recently, I’ve also been involved in an airport competition for New York City’s LaGuardia Airport expansion, the outcome of which has yet to be determined.

These experiences have allowed me to work on scales I’m continually interested in, to familiarize myself with new typologies, and taught me valuable lessons in collaboration and design leadership.
