I was born in Bucaramanga, Colombia where I worked for many years as an architect and as a teacher at the school of architecture of the Universidad de Santo Tomas de Aquino. In 2001, I immigrated to the United States and since, I have worked in architectural design and master planning of multifamily residential, mixed use communities, student housing, military housing, and senior living communities for firms of architecture in the Dallas area. I am a registered architect in the Republic of Colombia, the State of Texas, NCARB certified and an accredited professional by the CNU - The Congress for the New Urbanism of which I am a member. As an architect my main interests are architectural design, theory of architectural composition, history, urbanism and the relationship between architecture and the city.
