About

As an Assistant Project Manager in a high-volume architectural firm, I have learned how to manage all phases of a variety of architectural projects.  From initial concept sketches to construction administration, I am involved with the project throughout its life.  Working with senior staff members and the client, I produce project manuals and specifications that are specific to each project type. During the construction administration phase I am the main point of contact for both the client and the contractor. I coordinate project meetings, review submittals and payment applications, conduct field visits and ensure that the project meets specification.
In addition to my work at Parette-Somjen Architects, I have also had previous experience working in larger firms including Hillier Group, RMJM and Cannon Design. These experiences afforded me the opportunity to broaden my knowledge in large scale architectural projects and its many moving parts.
