About

I am an Architectural Designer passionate about well-crafted architectural projects from the very conceptual process until the final documentation and construction, with professional experience in residential architecture, interior design, adaptive re-use, master planning, and workplace design. I graduated from the Master of Architecture I program (3 years) at the Spitzer School of Architecture (CCNY, 2020), and I also had the honor to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the Bachelor of Architecture program (5 years) at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM, 2013). I have had the opportunity to work as the lead architectural designer for different private residential projects in my native country, and I am currently working as an Architectural Designer at KPF.

Employment

Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), New York, NY, US, Architectural Designer

I have managed to work in different practice areas in a corporate interior & adaptive reuse project located in NYC for a very prestigious high tech company.

I developed conceptual ideas that later transformed into key areas of design and materiality within the project, created presentations and diagrams to communicate design ideas to the client, drafted 3D modeling and renderings to propose design alternatives, research of materials and systems for proposed architectural solutions, and finish material boards for review and approval.

I was responsible of several construction documents and revisions, including several detailed drawings of the millwork scope and selected feature walls, and the specifications of materials and finishes based on the design and sustainability requirements.

I keep an ongoing design coordination with the client and our general contractor, do mock-up reviews on site, punch list reports, draft numerous architectural sketches and revise documentation set accordingly, respond to RFIs, and review submittals, which include shop drawings and physical samples. I also have the opportunity to serve as the branding & signage liaison for design consultants, manufacturers, and the client.
