The Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BS Arch) is a five-year baccalaureate degree program offered in the College of Architecture and Fine Arts. The program includes general education, technical courses (mathematics, natural sciences, basic engineering sciences, professional, allied and technical elective courses, architecture comprehensive course and the non-academic courses – PE and NSTP. The curricular structure of the BS Architecture program aims to prepare the students for architecture licensing and a professional career that essentially requires certain moral values, communication aptitudes, dexterity, knowledge and skills that are necessary for professional success. These objectives are achieved through progression in the course work and in which scientific training in the lower years are applied in the professional architectural courses in the upper years. All students gain professional experience and hands-on training through required internship, group projects, independent studio projects, required community service and research undertaking.
