Plastic Artist and Architect. He moved to Madrid in order to study Architecture and Fine Arts at the European University. Since then she has lived and studied in Madrid, Seoul, Ottawa and shortly in Dubai. Big fan of the new experiences, she has traveled to every continent and combines her international university studies with the professional artistic practice.
As an architect, she participates in different research projects related to Architecture or Urbanism and she has worked in various prestigious offices in Spain and Korea.
As an artist, she has been exhibiting solo or in group since 2009, she also has received several student scholarships from different countries, participated in various publications and worked on fairs and art related events internationally.
Maria's personal work is mainly developed through drawing. For her, drawings have the ability to describe and reinvent the world. Her pieces are classified into different series and talk about cultural issues, discoveries or sexuality. Technically, her work is characterized by an approach to the methods of architecture, the neatness of the images, the sharpness of the lines and the importance of thicknesses.
Currently, her personal research focuses on the study and conception of entities related to technology and science. That includes the variety of gadgets, instruments, structures and machines that surround us and affect our style of life.
