About

Hello,

I am a recent graduate from the Five-Year Architecture program (Bachelor of Architecture) at Philadelphia University, with a minor in Environmental Sustainability. Over the years, I have worked on projects pertaining to community development in the Philadelphia area, as well as abroad in South Africa and Rome, where I attended the University of Arkansas Rome Center for a semester. In the summer of 2013, I participated in a short course to study humanitarian architecture and participatory design in Johannesburg, South Africa. I also have experience working with Italian students for a master-planning proposal of the cultural Flaminia District in Rome, Italy, in the fall of 2013. My lifelong goal is to help build communities around the world and travel as much as possible in the process!

I have realized my true passions of community planning, but also educational design. From a classroom, to a museum, community center, or even a student center, I look forward to designing spaces that inspire social interaction and lifelong learning among community members. My primary architectural interest lies in community planning and design centered around cultural identity and access to education, all while being mindful of the environment. I believe that creating a strong, knowledgeable community is the foundation for a sustainable and globally connected world we live in today.
