As my diploma project, I chose an abandoned 2-storey house in the center of Budapest. I kept only the brick walls of the old structure, and built a new lightweight structure on top of it. On the rooftop I used broken pieces of the old ceramic roof-tiles, and on the perforated metal facade I used the same color of the ceramic.

The startup house would offer an incubator for startups both in private and in co-working offices, and provide workshop space with tools. On the street level, the tenants would have the opportunity to show, test, or sell their product in the exhibition space. The house would encourage socializing in many places; such as on the rooftop terraces, the lounge areas, and in the restaurant and bar in the basement.
